Mission to Uganda

Rev Graham Dunn of Barnack Baptist Church will be returning to Uganda this year to lead a series of Business Seminars in the North of the country.  Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world with a population average age of 15years.

The North of the country has been badly traumatised at the hands of the LRA led by Joseph Kony (of twitter fame).  Thankfully over the past 5 years there has been relative peace.

Graham will be leading business seminars in the towns of Arua, Gulu and Soroti, these seminars are targeted at medium and small businesses with the objective of encouraging positive business practices and values.  Graham has been delighted to see businesses flourish as they gain confidence and recognise that they often have it within their own ability and resources to build a better future.  This work is carried out in partnership with YWAM, the Baptist Union of Uganda, BMS and the Anglican Diocese of Arua.

This year Graham will be hoping to visit the Church which has been built through the generosity of local people who have supported the Baptist Church Christmas Charity Concerts.  Graham will be in Uganda in the first week of May and will be returning for 3 ½ weeks in July.
