World Vision Syrian Refugee Crisis Appeal

World VisionTens of thousands of refugees, the majority of them Syrian, are trying to escape from war-torn areas and making the treacherous journey to Europe in the hope of finding safety. Among them there have been an estimated eight thousand unaccompanied children. And as news reports have shown recently, many do not make it.

World Vision is working with refugees in the area, providing baby packages, support to lactating mothers and pregnant women as well as general hygiene items and clean water. They have also set up safe places for children to rest and be fed in safety.

The congregation of St John the Baptist Church in Barnack raised £240 for the World Vision Syrian Refugee Crisis Appeal.
