“Poors Charity”

Did you know there is a such a thing? If you have a financial concern or need, please do approach the charity for a grant or a loan. It exists to help and support residents with eg cost of living related worries, unexpected emergencies, students with help towards resources for study/education. Parish Councillor vacancies

The Parish Council is still carrying 2 vacancies, out of a complement of 5 positions in total.
If you want to keep the Parish Council running for the villages, in the villages, residents will have to step up to the roles, please. It cannot run on just 3 people for long and if no-one comes forward, arrangements will be made to amalgamate with another, (bigger probably) council. It could mean less control over development of, and in, your villages and less understanding of the local issues.
