Hello to everyone from Natural England. We hope our local friends and supporters are staying safe during this period.

Currently our work across all the NNRs has been restricted to only very essential tasks such as checking animals on site and some of our work bases for security.

Whilst we are keeping our sites open we are encouraging the pubic not to travel any distance to visit NNRs, but to stay local and try to find more nature on their doorsteps and in their gardens.

We have greatly appreciated updates and pictures from residents keeping an eye on the sheep, and the flowers that are now coming through to uplift visitors and give some much needed colour to these difficult times.

We expect that our sheep will probably move off the Hills and Holes during the next few weeks but we will keep updating our facebook page on how our plans progress with this.
