Coronation Tree

The Councillors are working on plans to plant a tree to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles. More to follow soon.
Grass cutting on Main Street
Some residents may have noticed that this area has become very over-grown. The Councillors would like to thank William Aldwinckle for previously maintaining this area. Peterborough City Council have now agreed to re-adopt it as part of their mowing schedule and it should be dealt with soon.

Planning: new or revised applications

a) Additional Shepherds Hut at The Vineyard. Planning Compliance Complaint 23/00053/ENFACC. Councillors continue to have concerns with relation to the suitability of the septic tank installation and the use of the caravans. We continue to await further updates from both Planning Enforcement and the Environmental Agency. All residents are asked to be vigilant and if any waste is seen to be flowing in ditches outside of the property, to notify the Clerk immediately so the authorities can be notified.
b) 23/00439/LBC – The Orangery, Burghley Park: Set of doors to be removed and replaced to match adjacent existing doors. Barnack Paris Council raised no objections.
c) 23/00497/HHFUL – Biliwings Walcot Road Barnack: Two storey side and rear extension with alterations. Barnack Paris Council raised no objections.
d) 23/00595/HHFUL – 11 Bishops Walk, Barnack: First floor side extension over garage, single storey extension to rear. Barnack Paris Council raised no objections.
e) 23/00632/CTR – The Grange, Barnack: Fell, multi-stemmed conifer tree. Barnack Paris Council raised no objections.
f) 23/00487/NONMAT – Non-material amendment to Roof, reference previous 18/01908/HHFUL at The Barton Pudding Bag Lane Pilsgate Stamford. Barnack Paris Council raised no objections.
Planning: recent decisions
a) 23/00497/CTR Barnack churchyard – fell 2 yew trees near the church tower. Permitted.
b) 23/00195/HHFUL – 25 Orchard Road, Barnack – Erection of single storey extension to the north, first floor extension to the south, addition of 2no. gables to the front elevation. Loft conversion and 3no dormers to rear roof slope. Permitted.

Clerk Recruitment

Debbie Lines, the current Parish Clerk has resigned. The Councillors thanked her for her work and support over the past three years. Candidates are being interviewed and it is hoped a new Clerk will be appointed soon.
